Private by construction
Zero public ports. Your Hearth is reachable only inside your Tailscale network. The vault is encrypted with a password only you hold — we cannot read or recover it.

Full bash shell over SSH. Install things. Break things. It is your computer — we just keep it running.
Local-first by default
Hearth is built to run on your machine, your hardware, your keys — and that will always be free. The marketplace is a gravity well, not a gatekeeper. Renting is for when you want your Hearth always-on without owning the box: same sovereign agents, same encrypted vault only you can open, just our electricity. Move home anytime — your vault travels with you.
Cancel anytime from the billing portal. Your server is suspended on non-payment and destroyed 30 days after cancellation — a final snapshot is kept for 30 days, then gone. We cannot recover your vault password.
