Who we are

The Hearth marketplace (the “Site”) is operated by Cutline Advisory LLC, a Delaware limited liability company with its principal place of business in Pennsylvania (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This policy explains what information we collect through the Site, why, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have.

Questions or requests? Email privacy@cutlineadvisory.com.

The short version

  • We set NO advertising or tracking cookies. We run no ad pixels, no session-replay, and no cross-site tracking.
  • The only information we collect about you directly is what you choose to send us — primarily the early-access / interest form.
  • Privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics load only if you opt in via the cookie banner.
  • We do not sell or "share" your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
  • You can ask us to access or delete your information at any time.

Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Early-access / interest form: your name, email address, whether you intend personal and/or business use, and (if business) your business name. We also record which page the form was submitted from.
  • Forum and community content: if content is posted to the forum, we store the post text and any images you upload.
  • Direct correspondence: anything you include when you email us.

Information collected automatically

  • Server logs: like virtually all websites, our hosting provider records standard request data such as IP address, browser/user-agent, referring page, and timestamps, for security, debugging, and abuse prevention.
  • Analytics (only with consent): if you accept analytics in the cookie banner, we load Vercel Web Analytics, which measures aggregate page traffic without cookies and without building a profile of you. It does not load otherwise.

Stored on your device (not sent to us)

We use your browser's local storage for strictly-necessary, functional purposes only: your theme preference, an administrator sign-in key (admins only), and a record of your cookie-consent choice. These stay on your device and are not transmitted to our servers.

How we use information

  • To respond to early-access interest and onboard founders in waves.
  • To operate, secure, and improve the Site and the forum.
  • To communicate with you about Hearth, including sending the information you requested.
  • To understand aggregate usage (only if you consent to analytics).
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

We do not use your information for automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.

Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers (“processors”) that help us run the Site, and only as needed for them to perform that work:

  • Vercel — website hosting, content delivery, and (consent-gated) analytics.
  • n8n workflow automation (self-hosted via Render) — receives early-access form submissions to route follow-up.
  • Airtable and our email provider — store interest records and send the follow-up you requested.

When you submit the interest form, your form data and standard request metadata (such as your user-agent and referrer) are forwarded to the workflow processor described above. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or users, or in connection with a business transfer.

Cookies and your choices

We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking. The only non-essential technology we may load is privacy-friendly analytics, and it is gated behind your consent. You can accept, reject, or fine-tune categories at any time using the Cookie preferences link in the footer.

Data retention

We keep interest-form records for as long as needed to onboard you and for our legitimate business records, and then delete or anonymize them. Server logs are retained for a limited period for security and debugging. You can ask us to delete your information sooner — see your rights below.

Your privacy rights

California (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and disclose it, to request access to or a copy of it, to request correction or deletion, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of in that respect.

California's privacy laws also include consent rules for tracking technologies. Consistent with that, we do not load non-essential trackers until you opt in.

Other regions

Depending on where you live, you may have similar rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, and to withdraw consent. We honor these requests regardless of where you are located.

How to exercise your rights

Email privacy@cutlineadvisory.com with your request. We may need to verify your identity before acting. You may use an authorized agent where the law allows.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including transport encryption (HTTPS) and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

The Site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, take additional steps where required by law.
